Guest session on “Decoding India's annual Budget -2021”
An online Guest session on “Decoding India's Annual Budget -2021” has been organized by Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania Institute of Management & Research on Thursday, 11th February, 2021 at the campus. The aim of the session was to spread knowledge about different facets of India’s Annual Budget, 2021-22 and to get insights on impact of annual budget on different sectors of India’s economy and Industry. The session was delivered by esteemed expert Dr. Lokanandha Reddy Irala, Dr. Lokanandha Reddy has a accountAssociate Professor, Finance, Department of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad. He is an expert in the area of Financial Modelling, Financial Analytics, Spreadsheet Modelling, Measurement in Research and Case Method. He not only analyzed the 6 pillars highlighted in the Budget namely Health and wellbeing, Physical and Financial capital and Infrastructure, Inclusive Development for Aspirational India, Reinvigorating Human Capital, Innovation and R&D and Minimum government, Maximum governance but also shared insights about Government Fiscal situation by critically analyzing its different components. The insightful session was followed by volley of questions from the students and faculty. The session was coordinated by Dr. Kunwar Milind Singh, Associate Professor, Economics & IB at the Institute.
