Fresher's Party 2017 “AAROHAN” organized by GHS-IMR

Fun, frolic, smiles and rejuvenated spirits marked the celebration of fresher’s party “AAROHANat Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania Institute of Management and Research for its 23rd batch based on the theme "RAINBOW". The welcome party was eagerly awaited by seniors as well as juniors. The purpose of this event is that every “Fresher” of GHSIMR feels like an integral part of GHSIMR family.

The party organized in GHSIMR Auditorium on Saturday, July 29, 2017, manifested youth and enthusiasm at its full flow. The anchors Meghna and Jasmine warmly welcomed the audience to “AAROHAN”. The event hit the Melodious Musical notes by the performance of singers Venkatesh and Vanshika performance on the song “Tu Hi Ye Mujhko Bata De”, followed by a power packed Dance performance by Sagar and Pooja on a Bollywood mash-up. Anshul Agarwal, of the senior batch, mesmerized the audience with his performance playing soft bollywood numbers as Instrumental music with foot tapping. The stage was scintillated with the new batch walking the Ramp amid myriad of colours. The ramp walk led to the selection of Mr. & Ms. Fresher’s- 2017 in two rounds. Which was judged by respected Dr.Meet Kamal Dwiwedi & Mrs. Rashmi Premi. Anmol & Shrayansh were declared as Mr & Ms. Fresher’s whereas Mandavi and Sagar as Mr.& Ms. Evening.

Stand-up comedy on the theme “Cricket and Bollywood” by Rachit and Samrat left everyone laughing their heart out. The Group Dance performance by Pratibha, Sanya, Jasmine, Meghna, Prabhpreet of the senior batch on peppy numbers like “Mere Rashke Qamar”, “Despacito”, “Tip Tip Barsa” and “Main Tera Boyfriend” set the crowd tapping-in to the tunes. Further, a bone tickling Comic Dance was performed by the seniors- Rachit, Samrat, Monisha, on Bollywood Tadka.

All the seniors and the juniors swayed to the beats of music on the dance floor showing the feeling of togetherness and everyone equally enjoyed dancing. The program ended with sumptuous dinner consisting of mouth watering dishes. Akansha  a student of the batch 2017-19, exclaimed “The magic in the air tuned into the chords of pulsating rhythmic hearts and bonds for the year that lay ahead”

The program was attended by all the faculty members, staff and students of the Institute.
