Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania Institute of Management and Research (GHS-IMR) organized the Industrial cum Excursion Trip 2025 for the students of the PGDM Batch 2024-2026. As part of this enriching experience, students visited Kutni Island and Khajuraho on March 23, 2025.

The journey commenced with great enthusiasm as students embarked on their first stop at Kutni Island, a picturesque destination near Kanpur. The serene environment, lush greenery, and scenic beauty provided a refreshing break from academic rigor. Students spent time exploring the island, appreciating its tranquil surroundings, and engaging in recreational activities. This visit allowed them to unwind, bond with peers, and enjoy the natural splendor of the region.

The next destination was the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Khajuraho, renowned for its intricately carved temples and rich cultural heritage. The students had the opportunity to witness the architectural brilliance of the Chandela dynasty, marveling at the exquisite craftsmanship and historical significance of the temples. The visit provided a deep dive into India’s rich past, enhancing their understanding of art, culture, and history. The students also engaged in discussions about the symbolism and unique artistic expressions that make Khajuraho a global heritage treasure.

This excursion was an excellent blend of leisure and learning, offering students a holistic experience beyond the classroom. It not only strengthened their appreciation for cultural heritage but also allowed them to rejuvenate before the insightful industrial visit. The trip provided a perfect balance of exploration, education, and camaraderie, making it a memorable journey for all participants.
