GHS-IMR has in place a well structured placement department with a mission to sustain and enhance the image of institute as a reliable talent pool of management students who can meet the unmet needs of corporate world.
The Department works religiously for providing a cutting edge to its students during the placement activities by organizing tailor-made training session for specific companies visiting for recruitment.
Apart from final placements, the other industry engagement activities like – Guest Lectures and summer internships forms an integral part of department’s activities and plays a pivotal role to expose the students to real life work environment.
The department guides and assist students to equip themselves with the industry recognized certifications in their preferred electives to increase their Employability skills and Industry readiness.
At GHS-IMR, we are proactively embracing this change. We believe that knowledge can be increased from any source. Student should not shy away from any source of information. The only terminal value whish matter is that whether we added something to our mental faculty or not.
The Final Placement season saw a good number of companies visiting GHS IMR offering niche and interesting profiles to its PGDM students.
Selection and scheduling of the companies was done keeping in mind the students’ interest and the job profiles offered.
Industry heavyweights offered profiles in domains like Sales, Finance, Operations, and Human Resource.
The maximum package offered by the company was Rs 13.4Lacs p.a. CTC and the average salary package was Rs. 5.26 Lacs p.a. CTC
Speaking of final placements, GHS-IMR saw a remarkable near completion of placements of its PGDM Student, The placement process began in the month of August and was conducted on a cohort basis.
Few of the notable salary packages (annual CTC) offered to students were – Rs. 13.4 Lacs(WE Edu.), Rs. 8.46 (Jaro Education), Rs. 6 Lacs (Health Plix) Rs. 6 Lacs (Antal International) Rs. 5.34 (FinEdge Consulting), Rs. 4.7 Lacs (Software ONE), Rs. 4.25 Lacs (HDFC Life Insurance), Rs. 4.25 Lacs. (Extramarks Education).
The average salary package offered to student saw an exponential rise as compared to last years. In case of both categories (i.e. Students placed outside Kanpur as well as students place in Kanpur itself) was Rs. 5.26 Lacs.
