SCHOLARSHIP POLICY

GHS-IMR Kanpur offers merit-based PGDM scholarships to support deserving students. Financial assistance is awarded based on entrance exam performance, academic excellence, and financial background. Eligible candidates can receive scholarships up to ₹2 lakh. Additional merit scholarships and trimester-based fee adjustments ensure structured financial support throughout the PGDM program.

SHRI GOVIND HARI SINGHANIA SCHOLARSHIP

The Shri Govind Hari Singhania Scholarship is awarded to meritorious students who have demonstrated outstanding performance in their academics and entrance examinations. The purpose of this scholarship is to attract high-quality students whose talent and dedication can contribute to academic excellence and help the institute achieve stronger placement outcomes.

POONAM GYANCHANDANI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

GHS-IMR in collaboration with India’s most renowned RSPL Group, had started “POONAM GYANCHANDANI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP” for the students of PGDM program. The scholarship is provided to the meritorious cum needy students of PGDM Program after the completion of first year.

This scholarship is for the selected student’s payable in terms of adjustment of the same for the education fee. The Selection Committee will shortlist the recipients as per the donor’s criteria of merit (Academic Score) cum means (Family Income), without any discrimination. The scholarship of maximum two lakhs per selected student against the education fee of selected student for successful implementation of the project in FY 2026-28.

SHRI YADUPATI SINGHANIA SCHOLARSHIP

The Shri Yadupati Singhania Scholarship Test is an initiative to identify and encourage talented new students. Through this test, the institute aims to reward academic potential and support deserving candidates at the beginning of their educational journey.

NOTE:

In case, the student is eligible under, more than1 (ONE) category of scholarship, then the highest amount of scholarship will not exceed Rs.25,000/- or 2,00,000 (in case of RSPL or Shri Govind Hari Singhania Scholarship).
Scholarship amount will be waived off from 3rd trimester and 6th trimester fees.

Awards for Meritorious Students

The Institute will be giving Scholastic Awards every year to two students from graduating class, in the Convocation Ceremony.

The preliminary list of students for consideration of awarding the medal would be selected based on the following criteria;

Students should have cleared all his/her exams in the first attempt. She/He should not have appeared in a Re-exam paper due to medical or any other reason.
The academic Council holds the right of amendment in the criteria of selection of the candidates for Scholarship. The decision of the committee will be final.
The Student should not have appeared for the improvement
No disciplinary action should have been taken against the student.
