Orientation Programme of PGDM Batch 2024-26

On August 17, 2024, an orientation program was held for the PGDM 2024–26 students at the Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania Institute of Management and Research (GHS-IMR). The purpose of this event was to familiarize the students with various aspects of the department, such as its activities, teaching methods, placement opportunities, and library resources. Additionally, the program aimed to highlight the significance and wide-ranging applications of management in both academic and industrial contexts.

The orientation program began with the traditional invocation of Saraswati Vandana, and then Professor and Director of GHS-IMR, Dr. Rahul Goyal, delivered the welcoming address. Dr. Goyal extended a hearty welcome to all students, highlighting their forthcoming journey at the institute. He stressed the importance of progression, cooperation, and exploration, pledging steadfast backing for their academic pursuits. With great enthusiasm, he inaugurated a path to a metamorphic learning voyage, nurturing distinction and all-encompassing advancement. The event was graced by esteemed guests, with Mr. Nitin Jain, Regional Sales Head, Trident Group India; Mr. Pramendra Singh, General Manager, Rotomac; Mr. Gaurav Jain, Business Head Africa, Intas Pharma; and Mr. Praveen Kumar Sharma, Assistant General Manager, Amar Ujala.

Mr. Nitin Jain, Regional Sales Head at Trident Group India, delivered an insightful address on the multifaceted nature of management and its crucial role within an organization. conduct within their specialized fields. Following these presentations, Professor and Dr. Shekhar Trivedi extended heartfelt thanks to the faculty, staff, and students in a formal vote of thanks. The event wrapped up with the singing of the national anthem and was followed by an official luncheon, marking the end of the proceedings.
