In the inaugural session on 28th June 2021, Director Prof. Rahul Goyal welcomed all the participant then Prof. S.P. Singh, Vice Chancellor , Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati, Assam made the inaugural address followed by address on Academic career by Prof. K. P. Yadav , Vice Chancellor, Sangam University, Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Senior academician Prof. P C Mishra, from Department of Psychology, Lucknow University was facilitated with a lifetime achievement award for his contribution in the field of research.
The resource persons of the program Dr. Shalini Srivastava, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Dr. Parul Saxena, Sharda University, Dr. A K Jain, MDI Gurgaon, Dr. Kushboo Sharma, Sangam University, Dr. R K Sharma, former Prof. Rustaq College Oman, Dr. S Trivedi, Dr. Monika Srivastava and Dr. K M Singh from GHS-IMR, deliberated on various areas of research paper writing and publishing during the 7 day event.
On the concluding day Dr. Monika Srivastava, Chair, Center for Faculty Development and Staff Training, GHS-IMR, summed up the proceeding of the event. Guest of honour Mr. Biseshwar Acharya, CEO Novel Academy Nepal and Prof. K P Yadav, Vice Chancellor, MATS University Raipur motivated the participants for academic rigour. Chief Guest Prof. S M M Ismail, Member of Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Former Vice Chancellor, South Eastern University of Srilanka conveyed their wishes to the participants. The program, was applauded a lot by participant during the feedback session and a request to have more such program was made by them. Dr. Rahul Goyal, Director GHS-IMR extended a vote of thanks to everyone who contributed to the successful execution of this program.
Program was landmark in the field of Teachers Training in the south Asian region and created a big platform for learning and networking for academicians and research scholars cross India and globe.

The 25th Convocation at GHS-IMR was conducted in the presence of Shri Abhishek Singhania, Chairman, GHS-IMR and the Chief Guest Mr. Rajeev Bajaj, Chairman & MD Bajaj Capital. The 25th Convocation was conducted online keeping in view the COVID guidelines set by the government. Precisely at 11:30 am the program started, with the guests, Governing Council members, Faculty, Staff and Students all logged in to the digital platform. The Chairman, Shri Abhishek Singhania declared the Convocation 2021 open. The Director Dr. Rahul Goyal, in his annual report informed that the result of the 25th batch has been 94%. Out of these, 75% students have secured First Division and among the first division holders, 61% were females and 14% were males. The 25th batch had 71% female students and 29% male students. Director declared that the placement process has been very good for 25th Batch. A total of 29 offers were made from 36 different companies to 25 eligible placement-seeking students, 5 students joined the league of entrepreneurs. The highest package offered was Rs. 8.50 Lacs per annum, and the average package was Rs 5.25 Lacs per annum (CTC). Prominent recruiting companies were Berger Paints, ITC ltd., FinEdge Consulting, Paarth Infrabuild, Decathlon Sports, J K Cement to name few.
He further informed that along with other activities under Academic and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, Wisdom Talks series was conducted where 15 stalwarts from corporate interacted with our students online. This year again, the students successfully completed their 7 days International industrial tour to Dubai.
Shri Abhishek Singhania ji applauded the medal winners, and the students of the outgoing batch 2021, as they were introduced for the conferment of their Diploma by the Controller of Examination. In his address, he first of all congratulated everyone on completing 26 years of GHS-IMR. He said that he was sure that the institute will flourish leaps and a bound in future with it’s alumni base now exceeding the two thousand mark. He wished very best of luck for their future endeavors.
The Chairman’s Gold medal was awarded to Ms. Soniya Chugani, followed by Chairman’s Silver Medal to Ms. Anshita Gupta. The Director’s Medal was awarded to Ms. Khyati Gautam, Ms. Shredha Gupta and Ms. Sonal Sengar for securing third, fourth and fifth positions respectively.
Mr. Rajeev Bajaj, Chief Guest of the occasion, said that the female power, which is the order of the day in corporate as well, is clearly visible in the list of the medal winners. He further added that the difficult time, in which we are at present, probe us to innovate and stretch us to find new dimensions. The corporate world today is looking out for such unyielding managers, which he is sure the present batch is. He wished the outgoing batch all the best for their future corporate lives.
As the day’s proceeding came to the end, Dr. Shekhar Trivedi, PGP Chair gave the vote of thanks and the Chairman declared the Convocation 2021 closed. The event was attended by Shri A K Saraogi, Shri A Agarwal, Shri Partho Kar, Shri N P Agarwal, along with other dignitaries.

E-KOSMOS, GHS-IMR E-cultural Fest, 2021 has been organized virtually on Saturday, September 4, 2021.The students of GHS-IMR set a precedent by hosting the cultural evening, virtually. E-KOSMOS is the 3rd edition organized with the objective of bringing together the youth from different Universities, Colleges, Institutions to provide them with the “Need of the Hour” platform not just to hone their intrinsic and inherent talents but to raise student spirit and motivate them towards positivity. This helps them connect better with their peers and senior Faculties. The pandemic has hit us all, but it has not been able to suppress our zeal to create and to cap off our desire to innovate.
The final event had contemporary themes: 1. College Life 2. Retro Theme 3. Hostel Days 4. Halloween theme 5. Nature or seasons and 6. Modern social media obsession.
The events to participate were Musical instrumental, Stand-up comedy, Drawing competition, Poetry and Singing. More than 100 participants from 21 different colleges like IIHMR University, Jaipur, University of Delhi, BBD University, Lucknow, Christ Church college, DAV College, University of Delhi were few have participated in the online event. The online performances were screened by the panel and 15 finalists were shortlisted for final day event. The 15 finalists were as follows.

The e-KOSMOS event was declared open by Director, GHS-IMR, Dr. (Prof.) Rahul Goyal, who appreciated the effort of the participants and congratulated the finalists. The event started with devotional song performance by Mr. Agam Agarwal followed by the Live Performance by the upcoming Bollywood artist Mr. Harsh Veer Indi’s energetic performances.
The Events viz. Musical instruments (Symphony), Drawing competition (draw -a Thon), Stand Up comedy (Laughter therapy), Poetry (Kavya Ras), Singing (Raise your Mic) were Judged by Dr. Manoj Pathak, Puran Chandra Vaidya Niketan, Ms. Smriti Dixit, Artist from Mumbai, Dr. Rajkishori Singh, Associate Professor, A.N.D College, Dr. Pooja Vidyarthee, HOD, BBA, PPN College and Dr. Sadhvi Mehrotra, Associate Professor, Dayanand academy of Management studies respectively.

All finalists of the events were presented with their certificate of merit and the winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs 2100 (TWENTY-ONE HUNDRED) each from GHS-IMR through electronic transfer in view of covid -19 condition.
Dr. Kunwar Milind Singh, Associate Professor, GHS-IMR, Convener of e-KOSMOS presented the vote of thanks and appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the participants for the event. In his concluding remark he said that such events show the perseverance of student’s participants not to bow down but to excel in tough circumstances. The event was witnessed by all the participating institute’s students, faculty members and the staff.

GHS-IMR organized the Orientation program for its 27th batch of PGDM students on 16th September 2021. The program began with Saraswati Vandana and lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Director, Dr. (Prof.) Rahul Goyal, in presence of the Chief Guest Mr. Alok Sanwal, COO, Dainik Jagran-Inext, Guest of Honor, Mr. Neeraj Wasan, Founder, Pulse Business Solution Inc., and Mr. Sumit Jhingan, General Manager- HR, The India Thermit Corporation Limited, along with Dr. (Prof.) Shekhar Trivedi, PGP Chairperson.
Director, Dr. (Prof.) Rahul Goyal welcomed the new batch, he said that the journey of their PGDM will see them turning into managers who will be providing innovative solutions to problems. His address was followed by the address of the Chief Guest and subsequently Guests of Honor. Chief Guest Mr Alok Sanwal emphasized on the importance of academics. He said that the fundamentals given in the books should be thoroughly understood by the students as they fine tune the decision making during the practice. Mr. Sumit Jhingan while delivering his address mentioned that “ the corporate world is becoming more and more challenging for managers as the classical managerial jobs are evolving into technology-driven jobs, and your mandate should be to be technically aware managers”.

The students of PGDM second year (batch 2020-22) went for a 2 day educational excursion to Orchha (M.P.) from Oct 30.10.21 to Oct 31.10.21 . The tour included visit to the Orchha fort, wildlife Sanctuary, Raja Ram Temple, Chhatris, Chaturbhuj temple, Betwa River, Lakshmi Narayan Temple. The objective of the tour was to make understanding of a nation which includes historical, cultural and social knowledge of the place. The fulfilled tour was the witness of camping with The ARC – Advenport Retreat and Campsite where dancing, rifle shooting, cycling and bonfire with other happy to go meals of the day were included.

GHS-IMR students of PGDM Batch organized Diwali Mela 2021 on account of Diwali, which was divided into two parts- Cultural and Competitions such as singing, dancing and Rangoli making, Diya decor, Candle making, etc. In the first half of the program, the students initiated the event by exploring their talents such as singing, dancing, mimicry, and some fun activities. The different innovative stalls like food stalls, hand-made products, snacks, hand-made gifts, etc. were Diwali Mela’s attractions.
Diwali Mela in GHS-IMR is a combination of everything a person can expect from GHS-IMR, fun, food, ambiance, dance, pictures, games, and whatnot. Students wait for this celebration the most. They dress up in ethnic and play games around. They buy beautiful jewelry and other items. Students along with their friends play different games and win exciting gifts. GHS-IMR not only focuses on the educational development of the student but also on the overall grooming they believe in celebrating each festival to the fullest. GHS-IMR give freedom to the students to open their talents and capabilities with such platforms. The final phase ended with the prize distribution and a group photograph with senior dignitaries and other faculty members.
